Updates from Harrogate

Hi:

I rode Cash last Friday. I was awesome... I'm starting to be able to predict what he's going to do at certain times while we're riding... so I'm getting better on him. YAY!!!
We jumped... I have videos, but Pat didn't set the jump very high because Pebbles was jumping as well... and he has to jump to smallest jump. But, I did get to jump a vertical.

Shannon will be riding next week. Can't wait to see her!

Oh, and my friends Alexa and Jordan will be riding in the Mount Albert Santa Claus Parade!

Updates from Harrogate

Hi:

I rode Cash on Friday... YAY!!! I love Cash... he's so cute! We did a timed obstacle course where you had to weave through pylons... Cash and I won... of course.

Harrogate got a new horse! She doesn't have a name yet, but she's really cute. My friend Alexa and Jessica got to ride her. They both said that she was a nice ride... so that's good to hear. I hope I get to ride her soon!

Tobias is still lame, and missing his friend Intrepid. I went back to see him and he was staring at Trepi's stall... It made me sad to see him like that, he really misses his friend.
Savannah is also lame... Amanda and I were putting Wapiti away and she limped over to us... It was sad, hopefully she will get better soon.
Scout is also still on stall-rest, She will probably have a check-up soon with the Vet.

Shannon, my friend, who got surgery on her hand, is no longer 'lame', and will be riding in November! YAY! I'm happy she's better!

startrek.com

Hi:

Yesterday, I was on wiki looking up stuff on some Star Trek Characters, and I came across www.startrek.com. To some of you it may seem very nerdy...but I am in love with Star Trek... and so is one of my best friends, Lindsay. So I decided to make an account. :)

I know it's not a lot to to blog about...but I'm really crazy about this!

And to all of you who think Star Trek is dumb and stupid and other things like that.... Your all oy'naqs. (It's Klingon.)

Updates from Harrogate

Hi:

I rode Cash again!!! YAY!!! I hope I ride Cash until I get REALLY good on him! We jumped to... It was fun because Cash went crazy because he had all this bottled up energy because we were in the back of the ride. One time when I went over a cross-rail after we landed he started to shake his head... it was funny. And I got to jump a vertical...which is a jump when the bar is straight across, instead of a cross-rail, which is two rails making an 'X'... and once he saw it he got really excited.
We also did this little course thing that Pat timed. Once you crossed the 'starting line' (which actually was two pylons) Pat would start the clock, then you rode to the other end of the arena where you had to enter this circle type shape made of rails....turn around, without stepping out of the 'circle', then go back to the other end of the arena and cross back over the 'finnish line' (the two pylons) and the time would stop. Anyway... Cash and I got the best overall time...YAY!!!

Love horses, Love Cash.

Songbook

Hi:

As I said in my introduction blog, I play guitar as well as write songs. Lots of people ask me: "What do you write songs about?" This is always hard to answer so I usually just say: "Stuff....?"

So now what I'm going to do is tell you what I write songs about. Usually I write about stuff that moves me, love, friendship, and so on. But, recently I find that I am also moved by stuff that pisses me off. A girl can get some crazy lyrics out of that. ;)

Oh, and never ask to see/hear any of my songs... because you'll get denied. Sorry!

So basically what I'm hinting at is that if your in my songbook...it might be good...but it also might be really bad!!!

Updates from Harrogate

Hi:

Well...It was another lesson on Friday. I rode Cash! YAY!!! Pat was out of town so we had Becca teach us our lesson...so we didn't get to jump...but I did canter Cash....I cannot begin to explain the amazingness of it!
I felt bad for Cash though...because all the other Horses in the lesson were really lazy...which he is the exact opposite of...and we were always in the back of the ride. But he loves to canter...and it was amazing...usually I only get to go around the track one time...and sometimes twice if I'm lucky...but with Cash I went around three times and he basically did all the work and I just got to sit back and focus on my own position. He's kinda of the 'go fast or go home' type horse... which I love!!!

Okay... I could talk about Cash's amazingness forever... So I'd better stop now.

I'm Thankful for Horses

Hi:

Well Thanksgiving Weekend 09 is basically over. So here's what I did:

Saturday: Went and saw 'WHIP IT' at the theaters...it was ok, I guess.

Sunday: Went up to Judy's farm and helped her de-burr Cindy, Sandy, and Rainbow (her horses), and we went on a trail ride too. I rode Cindy...she's awesome...and big...but she's smaller than Tobias! Judy rode Sandy who is smaller than Cindy, she's also at the bottom of the 'pecking order' which is the order of who's boss. No one rode Rainbow because Judy is still trying to build more trust with her, because at Rainbow's previous owners she was beat (which I think is disgusting and moronic, and so many other things which i will not say..) by women, but she trusts Judy and me enough to touch her, which is good.
After I got home we had the family come up for dinner. And me and my cousin, Elise, watched Heartland (one of the best shows EVER!).

Hope your Thanksgiving weekend was exciting too!!!
